This is the inspection and testing of the fixed electrical systems (electrical sub circuits) within a property.This electrical survey is carried out to ascertain the condition of the fixed electrical installation and also to check if and where the electrical installation does not meet current electrical legislation, as IEE regulations are continually developing and changing.
Inspection and testing is not only a requirement of BS7671 (17th Edition wiring regulations) before any new installations are put into service, but also necessary to ensure that existing installations are safe to continue to use.
